WAFM is a community within a community whose initiative is WELLNESS for all individuals – children, teens, adults, seniors. As individuals become more “well”, the wellness of our community naturally improves, which can lead to improvement in environmental and social wellness too. It begins with you and your own journey to wellness and fulfillment, which can positively impact all those around you – family, spouse, loved ones, friends, coworkers, even your employer. Call a WAFM member today to help you pursue Wellness, find Solutions, enrich Relationships, engage in Personal Development, or improve Emotional Health. We want to see you thrive!

Wellness
According to the National Wellness Institute, Wellness is "a conscious, self-directed, and evolving process of achieving full potential”.
Wellness looks at the whole person – physical, mental, emotional, occupational, environmental, intellectual, social, spiritual, financial, relational - and has been defined as a state of physical, mental, and social well-being. Wellness goes beyond being free from illness, it is a dynamic process of change and growth that encourages health and fitness in all areas of life.
Wellness is important because what we do and what we feel relates to our well-being. In turn, our well-being can directly impact our actions and emotions. It is important to strive for optimal wellness to reduce stress, diminish the risk of illness, encourage positive interactions, and reach for your full potential!

Relationships
Relationships are the most important parts of our lives, and are a vital component for health and wellbeing. Solid relationships with family members, spouse, friends, and co-workers contribute to a healthy, happy, and successful life. If you are struggling with any of the relationships in your life, a WAFM member can help you get back on track. Even if the relationship that needs improvement is with yourself. Give effort and time into your relationships and keep them growing strong.

Personal Development
Personal Development is the conscious pursuit of personal growth by expanding self-awareness, self-knowledge, and improving personal skills. It includes activities that build self-esteem, develop awareness and personal identity, enrich talents, build skill sets, enhance quality of life, contribute to fulfillment of dreams and aspirations, and help a person reach their full potential. Those who actively engage in personal development can positively influence all aspects of their lives. Personal development should begin at an early age and continue through the lifespan. Be the awesome person you were created to be!

Solutions
Sometimes it’s hard to know where to turn and find answers for issues that are creating obstacles to success. WAFM was formed with this very challenge in mind, to help you find solutions to problems, concerns, fears, anxiety. Sometimes it helps just to have someone to process through difficult decisions or challenging problems. WAFM members are an excellent resource.

Emotional Health
Emotional wellness inspires self-care, stress reduction and the development of inner strength. It is important to be attentive to both positive and negative feelings and be able to understand how to handle these emotions. Emotional wellness also includes the ability to learn and grow from experiences.Emotional and mental health is a very big part of wellness, but one which is often overlooked, or even unheeded. Issues such as addiction, PTSD, trauma, emotional pain, behavior concerns, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, or other mental health conditions can seriously affect decision making and success and need to be addressed. WAFM members are especially adept in emotional and mental health.
